Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

1. What SpamStopper provides

SpamStopper provides a free email alias and forwarding service. You can create an email alias on our domain that forwards incoming messages to a real email address you specify. The service is provided as-is and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SpamStopper. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SpamStopper to:

  • Send, receive, or facilitate spam, phishing, malware, or any illegal content.
  • Impersonate another person or organisation.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
  • Create aliases in bulk using automated tools without our permission.
  • Use the service for any activity that violates applicable laws.

4. Alias ownership and availability

Aliases are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to reclaim, disable, or reassign any alias at our discretion, including aliases that are inactive, associated with abuse, or needed for operational reasons.

You do not own your alias. It is a forwarding address operated by SpamStopper on your behalf.

5. Service availability

We aim to keep SpamStopper available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Email forwarding depends on third-party infrastructure including DNS, email providers, and hosting services. Delays or failures in delivery may occur and are outside our control.

6. Privacy

Your use of SpamStopper is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes what data we collect and how we use it.

7. Email content

SpamStopper forwards email on your behalf but does not monitor, filter, or take responsibility for the content of messages sent to or through your alias. You are responsible for the email addresses you provide and the communications you receive.

8. Abuse and enforcement

We may suspend or terminate your alias without notice if we determine, at our sole discretion, that it is being used in violation of these terms. We may also cooperate with law enforcement if required by law.

9. Limitation of liability

SpamStopper is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from your use of the service, including but not limited to missed emails, delayed delivery, or data loss.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to zero, as the service is provided free of charge.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. If we make significant changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of SpamStopper after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
